I am proud and privileged to be the principal of Moyderwell Mercy Primary School. Hailing originally from Doonbeg in Co. Clare, my teaching career has taken me to Kerry via Dublin, Wicklow & Cork. I was a teaching principal on the Cork/Kerry border for a number of years before assuming my current role as Administrative Principal in Moyderwell in 2022.
I am an energetic and enthusiastic leader who strives to support the excellent teaching and learning that takes place throughout our school on a daily basis. I am privileged to be working with the talented and dedicated staff of this great school and be a part of the wonderful team atmosphere and sense of family that exists here.
In Moyderwell Mercy, we consider ourselves to be a home away from home for our pupils. Our philosophy is focused on supporting and encouraging students in every aspect of their lives, nurturing them into well rounded children who will go forward and embrace life with confidence, enthusiasm and a sense of justice.
